About this course
Personal Effectiveness is heavily dependent on self-mastery. In our opinion, Self-Mastery is the foundation for success in the workplace and in private life. The starting point to understanding the world and the people we relate with is, understanding ourselves. Only after understanding and mastering ourselves can we expect to effectively influence and motivate others. For, if one does not understand oneself how can one understand others? If one cannot manage oneself how can one manage others?

Self-Mastery is one’s ability to know oneself and understand how to relate to different personality types; to crystallize one’s thinking so that the most functional mind-sets and paradigms are used in solving problems and in responding to situations in the workplace. It involves the use of emotional intelligence to deal with personal emotions and manage relationships, to establish an effective value and belief system and to determine a strategic plan for one’s own life.

This workshop will help every employee (new or experienced), and especially people managers, develop a sense of responsibility for their personal and professional lives and acquire useable strategies for improving productivity and team effectiveness. It is designed for those who seek to further develop the key skills and techniques needed to build personal impact, influence and work effectiveness.

One unique thing about this programme is that it makes extensive use of our personality diagnostics profiling tools: Insights Discovery Personal Profile which measures psychological preferences, and the Insights Navigator profile which measures capability.

The programme is highly interactive and will involve participants in group exercises and role plays that are fun and exciting

Methodology
